I am The Thinker, a bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin, usually placed on a stone pedestal. The work shows a nude male figure of over life-size, sitting on a rock with his chin resting on one hand, as though deep in thought.

It has been snowing and the Thinker cannot do anything but shiver and think about warmer days to come.

Early in the morning the snow is still untouched, but soon the first birds will make traces in the snow and then the people will follow.

He becomes intrigued by the tracks in the snow. The Thinker now has an opportunity to study the walking patterns in a new way.

At nine in the morning, the pattern is really exciting. I Think… this is the track of a tourist pulling a travel bag. And these are the people that took a selfy with me in it. That’s a car.

But all tracks are intertwined and it is becoming a very complex pattern.
